Become a Volunteer

Food For Thought is a volunteer-based organization and has been that way since its beginning. Currently, we have almost 600 volunteers who selflessly give their time to make sure their neighbors in Sonoma County who live with HIV and other serious illnesses consistently receive fresh, healthy food.

Food For Thought is always seeking enthusiastic, active volunteers. We welcome individuals, businesses, service groups, and students who want to give back to their community.

Attend a Volunteer Orientation
If you're interested in becoming an FFT volunteer, we hold a no-obligation, one-hour orientation meeting the third Tuesday of every month at 5:30 pm at the food bank.

You’ll learn about our grassroots origins, get a tour of the food bank and our world-class organic garden, and find out how you can be of service. Feel free to bring a friend!

Get started by filling out our volunteer application. You will be contacted soon after the form is submitted.

If you have any questions, please email volunteer@fftfoodbank.org or call (707) 887-1647.
